This is a sample Sports page. You can add as many Sports pages as you want. Simply assign these pages to the Parent page labeled Sports and leave the page assigned to the “Default Template”. The main column of this page will display content and photos added to the main text editing window when you edit this page.
The “Default Template” is a powerful page template that will automatically display other content types that are attached to this page. If you attach an Announcement, Game, Event, Video, or Document, it will automatically display in a widget on this page. Any Announcement, Game, Event, Video, or Document can easily be attached to multiple pages.
One of the most powerful features of this page is its ability to display sports schedules and results. If you add any games to this particular sports page, there will be a widget just for those games, and in that widget, there will automatically be a link to the results and schedules of other years. Those games will also appear on the master Sports Schedule template (this is the template that the page named Sports is assigned to), and those games will appear in the SWW Schedule widget on your homepage.
If you set a photo as the Featured Image for this page, it will display at the top of the page with a caption beneath it. In addition, you can insert photos directly into the body of the page.
If you are logged in to your site, you will see an “Edit this Page” link on this page that will take you directly to where you can edit this content.
